Health and Wellness activities are essential… they provide us physical and emotional energy, power, flexibility and longevity.”

I have been active all my life…individually and in groups. My formal fitness teaching or coaching career, however, began in Marin County, Ca. long ago. Over these years, I have had the opportunity to work and align myself with an array of fitness organizations large and small. This exposure has allowed me to study many different training styles and philosophies from which I have made rational conclusions — conclusions that have safely gotten my clients positive results!

Workshops and symposiums are educational staples for trainers to stay in touch with movements and discoveries in exercise science. I have attended and contributed to a multitude over the years, and have been awarded several certifications on topics such as: Nutrition (APEX), Kinetic Chain Assessments and Functional Training Methods (NASM), Core Conditioning and Stability Training (C.H.E.C.K. Institute and Reebok University), and Outdoor Group Leadership (Tina Vindum’s (ACE certified) Outdoor Action Fitness)).

In addition to the aforementioned certifications, I have been involved in several industry focus groups and consulted for design and marketing firms for their health and wellness products and measurement devices. This has given me further insight and foresight into the future of health and fitness.

I am happy to share references from past and present clients (and mentors) who have experienced my dedication and high level of education and efficacy in the field of health and fitness. I am fully licensed and insured, passionate and fit, and immensely enjoy interacting with people and having fun. I look forward to working with you to accomplish your goals.

To Your Health!

I have been a personal trainer for 4 years and fitness has always been a part of my life. Most recently, I was a trainer at Club One Fitness, one of San Francisco’s premier health clubs where I trained private clients, lead the weekly running club and taught group exercise classes including BOSU Cardio, Core and Alignment, and Strength Conditioning. I also taught outdoor boot camps in San Francisco to groups and individuals. My goal is to teach clients how incorporating exercise into their life and eating properly can reduce stress, increase energy, and give them a body they will love.

My favorite form of exercise is running, and I have completed several half-marathons and numerous other races in the bay area. I just completed my first race in OR, the Granite Man 10 mile mountain run. In addition to running, I enjoy swimming, hiking, weight-lifting, yoga and Pilates. I lead by example and teach people how to improve their quality of life and realize their full potential by finding the type of exercise they enjoy.
